There are over 30 different types of creatures (which are also known as mobs) that roam in the worlds of minecraft and each one is different than the last. Some are friendly and some are hostle. Some are even tamable. This page will go into the characteristics of each mob. It will also mention whether a mob is Passive, Tamable, Hostle, Neutral or a Boss.
-
Passive - These will never attack even if you attack them. These mobs are also know as 'farm animals'
-
Tamable - These mobs can become your trusted side kick whilst you explore the world.
-
Hostle - There is no negotiating with these mobs. They will attack on sight.
-
Neutral - Neutral mobs are friendly unless they are provoked. They will attack you if they are provoked. Some tamable mobs are also neutral.
-
Boss - Bosses are meant as end game mobs with their high attack strength and health. When killed, they also drop end game items which can not be obtained in any other way.
